Voters across all demographics support a middle-class tax credit and believe that the corporate tax rate should be lowered and paid for by closing corporate tax loopholes.
- Eight in ten voters (81%) support Congress passing a new Paycheck Bonus Tax Credit of $2,000 for middle class families with 44% indicating they strongly support this initiative. Large majorities across all parties support this initiative, including 88% of Democrats, 79% of Independents, and 75% of Republicans.
- Lowering the corporate tax rate from 35% to 25% and paying for it by closing tax loopholes also found strong support across all parties. Three-fourths of all voters (76%) say they support this plan with Republicans being the most enthusiastic (81%), followed by Independents (80%), and Democrats (68%).
